Young People and Safe Guarding Roundtable Discussions

Life as a teenager today is full of challenges and complexities. And for those of us who work with them, we can find ourselves helping them navigate some serious issues.

As part of revisiting our safeguarding policies, we are holding two round table discussions for youth leaders and those who work with young people:

Young People and the Internet – Friday 14th October, 12-2pm, Wolvesey, Winchester

Young People and Mental Health – Monday 14th November, 12-2pm, Wolvesey, Winchester

We want your input as we move forward – what issues are you finding young people navigating? How are you trying to help them? What support do you wish you could have?

These discussions are particularly aimed at those working with Young People, but those with associated interests are most welcome.

Please get in contact with Jackie Rowlands (jackie.rowlands@winchester.anglican.org) if you would like to attend.

(There will be similar future opportunities for those working with Children and Families)
