Uniformed Youth Social Action Fund - Youth United

Youth United Foundation and the Cabinet Office are inviting bids for a new fund to enable thousands of young people living in disadvantaged areas, or from hard to reach communities, to get involved in social action by joining uniformed youth organisations.

£10 million has been provided by Her Majesty’s Treasury to create the Uniformed Youth Social Action Fund from LIBOR fines. Announced by The Chancellor in the budget last month, this funding is being awarded to uniformed youth groups through the Youth United Foundation.

Bids for funding are now being invited from members of the Youth United Network and from other uniformed youth organisations, that are not members of the Network, but which offer social action opportunities and structured activities.
