We need your help!
Did you know that the Church of England has a Youth Council? Did you know that they meet at least twice a year, that they discuss issues pertinent to young people and the Church of England, they get observer status at General Synod and that all members get free iPads? (one of those facts isn’t true).
Every diocese is invited to send 2 young people to be part of CEYC and since it’s creation in 2004 the Diocese of Winchester has never sent anyone… (personally I blame the DYO…)
The next meeting is planned for Saturday 20 April in Oxford, and we’d love to send two of your young people to take part. Travel expenses will be covered by the Diocese, food is all laid on by CEYC and you’re guaranteed a great day!
So, if you have young people aged between 16 and 24 who’d like to get their hands on the Church of England and to give it a good shake… please let me know!
