Helping children pray for the world

Dave Roberts, from Children Matter! write:

“This term we are looking at ‘Your Kingdom Come’ with our 5-11s and encouraging the children to think beyond themselves and pray for the world.  We’ve put together some prayer activities that the children have really enjoyed when we tried them out: Inflatable globe prayers, praying for peace with zips, Hunger prayers, poverty prayers, praying for a better world and praying for specific countries.  We’re going to keep them going as prayer stations all term, letting the children suggest different countries they’d like to pray specifically for.”
